We seek talented qualified dermatologists to join the team at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre, RPAH to participate in pigmented lesion clinics – full time or part time. The centre uses total body photography, sequential digital dermoscopy imaging, in vivo and ex vivo confocal microscopy, line-field OCT to assess skin lesions. A research assistant helps with images acquisition and database, teaching and research projects. Our nurse will support you with all patients related task.
The Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre (www.melanoma.net.au) is located within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
The position can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of the successful applicant: just private practice or some involvement into ground-breaking research with possible progression in academic positions.
The position involves consultations for “extreme risk” melanoma patients and In vivo confocal microscopy expertise.
Applicants need to be a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, or be eligible for fellowship.
