Hawke’s Bay District Health Board are seeking a dermatologist to be based at Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay. The position is 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) with opportunities to increase hours in private practice locally.
As a Specialist Physician in Dermatology you will work with the other Dermatologist, Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist and Dermatology Nurses in the Whanau & Communities Group. You will provide clinical services that include outpatient, community assessment and management of people requiring specialist dermatology care, and community-based support services. Clinics are provided in Hastings, Napier, Wairoa and Waipukurau. Strong clinical liaison with other surgical specialist such as General Surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology and non-surgical departments such as Paediatrics and the full range of medical specialties will be maintained.
