About the Meeting
ACD’s Rural Dermatology Meeting provides an opportunity for College Fellows, trainees and other medical professionals to come together to discuss clinical and professional challenges and opportunities for dermatology practice in rural and remote areas. The meeting will build on the themes and recommendations from past conferences and promises to be an engaging interactive forum.

Program
As in previous years, the scheduled program will flow over three half days – Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday morning. Saturday and Sunday sessions will end at lunch time. The program has been designed to provide ample opportunity for networking, further discussion and some leisure time to enjoy Darwin and surrounds.
Over the three days, attendees will hear from a wide range of presenters including College Fellows and trainees as well as experts from other medical specialities.

Speaker: Dr Aaron Boyce – Consultant Dermatologist, Townsville University Hospital

Sun Pharma Educational Grant for Trainees
College is pleased to be able to offer ACD trainees support via the Sun Pharma Educational Grant. Support includes complimentary registration (a unique code will be given to you during the registration process) as well as up to $1000.00 to offset the cost of flights and accommodation. This is available to ACD trainees (doctors currently participating in the ACD Training Program) only. Reimbursement for flights and accommodation costs (maximum $1000.00) will be finalised after attendance at the conference. Proof of expenditure will be required.
Full Registration entitles the Delegate to:
- Access to the conference sessions Friday 5 August to Sunday 7 August
- Lunch, morning and afternoon tea on the day of registration in the exhibition
- One ticket to the Welcome Reception and one ticket to Conference Dinner
- Option to purchase accompanying persons and children tickets
- Access to the exhibition
- Delegate badge and Conference materials
Payment
All payments must be received prior to the conference and are quoted in Australian dollars.
