The Australasian College of Dermatologist celebrated World Skin Health Day on 29 August 2018 with an online social media campaign named “Understand.”  

The campaign aimed to promote the unique experiences of patient support groups and help build a connection between dermatologists and patients. 

The day was also an opportunity to increase understanding of the social and emotional challenges that people with skin diseases and their families face. 

The campaign brought together patient support groups, Fellows and College staff.
