International awards for social responsibility in dermatology

The international awards for social responsibility are open for submission. The awards are for social initiatives led by dermatologists having a positive impact on patients and people facing dermatological issues in three main categories:
- Prevention and education on skin health
- Improved quality of life and self-esteem
- Access to care, coverage and surgery.
The project must fall within the scope of a social initiative led by dermatologists as individuals, in an association or a hospital.
An independent committee of five dermatologists from the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) will select the five best projects, one from each of the main ILDS geographical regions.
The winners will each be rewarded with a 20,000€ grant and will be announced during the 24th World Congress of Dermatology on Monday 10 June, 2019 in Milan, Italy.
