MBA sexual boundaries guidelines

The Medical Board of Australia’s updated ‘Guidelines: Sexual boundaries in the doctor-patient relationship’ come into effect on 12 December 2018.
Key changes include a requirement for patient consent if medical students or anyone else is to be present during the examination and advice that an unwarranted physical examination may constitute sexual assault.
