Report on medical specialists sector

The Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research at the University of Melbourne has released a report this week, outlining the trends and challenges faced by the medical specialist sector in Australia.
Using a variety of data sources, including Medicine in Australia: Balancing Employment and Life (MABEL) data, the report outlines the challenges of increasing numbers of specialists, earnings, fees and out of pocket costs, public-private mix, and job satisfaction.
